NEBARSS was founded in 2014 with the aim of bringing together students engaged in research into the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age in Britain and Ireland, or addressing issues pertinent to such research.

The symposium offers the opportunity for postgraduate researchers to share and discuss aspects of their research in a relaxed environment. It also provides a forum for research students to liaise with their peers from around the country in a supportive and constructive atmosphere.

Since its inception in 2014 at the University of Bradford, symposiums have been held at the Universities of Newcastle upon Tyne and University College London. The 2017 symposium  will be held at the Univeristy of Central Lancashire. Details for NEBARSS 2017 can be found under the relevant menu. This includes a provisional programme for the symposium and the abstract submission form. Additional details will be added as they are confirmed.
