Annual Conference for Postgraduate Researchers

NEBARSS Committee

NEBARSS is managed by a permanent  National Committee*, with each year’s symposium being organised by an annual Organising Committee from the hosting university.

The National Committee, currently headed by  Dr Mike Copper (University of Bradford) and Owain Mason, is responsible for:

  •         Promotion of the symposium
  •         Management of the main website
  •         Liaising with and advising prospective hosts
  •         Choosing each year’s regional committee
  •         Providing advice and support to the organisers
  •         Shape the future direction of the symposium

The annual Organising Committee will be responsible for:

  •         The hosting of the symposium
  •         Organisation and promotion of that year’s event
  •         Managing social media accounts
  •         Production and distribution of promotional material
  •         Call for papers and selection of presenters
  •         Organisation of a keynote lecture by an established academic
  •         Funding the year’s symposium
